MOUNT GILEAD — Danville’s Kelsey Hackman was at it again during Tuesday’s Knox Morrow Athletic Conference Track & Field Championships.
Hackman won four individual events for a second year in a row, defending her KMAC titles in the long jump, 100-meter dash and the 100 and 300 hurdles.
The junior won the long jump competition with a leap of 16 feet, 1 inch. She won the 100 in 12.96 seconds, the 100 hurdles in 17.20 and the 300s in 49.33.
Fredericktown’s Ella Bouton was a double-winner. She took first in the shot put with a meet-record toss of 44-4 and won the discus competition with a throw of 127-5.
Fredericktown’s Jenny Alexander broke the meet record in the pole vault. She cleared 11-7.
Loudonville’s Cama Skok won the high jump with a leap of 5-2. Teammate Sophie Shultz won the 800 in 2:20.76.
East Knox won three of the four relay events.
The team of Ava Faucett, Ellie Clark, Macie Fawcett and Isabel Bostic won the 4×200 in a meet-record 1:46.42.
Cloe Tucker joined Clark, Fawcett and Faucett to win the 4×100 in 51.91.
The quartet of Faucett, Tucker, Fawcett and Bostic won the 4×400 in a meet-record 4:09.47.
Northmor won the girls team title with 145 points. Mount Gilead (112) was second and Fredericktown (85) was third. Loudonville finished fourth (76), followed by No. 5. East Knox 75, 6. Danville 57, 7. Cardington-Lincoln 39.5, 8. Centerburg 38.5.
Boys
Centerburg’s Blane Ball was a double-winner, helping the Trojans to a runner-up finish.
Mount Gilead defended its team title with 159 points. Centerburg (111) was second and Northmor (97) was third. Fredericktown was fourth (70), followed by No. 5. East Knox 59, 6. Cardington-Lincoln 52, 7. Loudonville 50, 8. Danville 27.
Ball won the long jump with a leap of 20-6. He teamed with Miles Marshall, Eli Indician and Hayden Love to win the 4×100 in 44.74.
Centerburg’s Jackson Ballinger won the discus with a throw of 149-5. Teammate Caleb Rhodebeck won the high jump with a leap of 6-0.
Fredericktown’s Blake Sipes won the 200 in 23.06.
East Knox’s Cason Faucett won the 400 in 50.45.
