Broeren to be sworn in as City Law Director Aug. 11

MOUNT VERNON – Hours after the the Knox County Board of Elections voted to deny a challenge to his residency the Republican Central Committee appointed Rob Broeren City Law Director at last night’s meeting.  The effective date of his appointment is August 11, which will also be the date on which he will be sworn in by Municipal Court Judge John Thatcher.
