Mary Lou Hass-Jones, 96, of Mount Vernon passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at the Country Court Nursing Center in Mount Vernon. She was born on June 15, 1929 in Mount Vernon to the late Paul Harold and Nellie (Gemienhardt) Keys.
Mary Lou was the Apartment Manager for several Senior Apartment Companies and retired from the United Church Homes in Marion. She was also a Pilot and loved flying.
Mary Lou is survived by her brother, Jerry (Sue) Keys of Cardington; sister, Shirley Laymon of Roanoke, VA; 2 granddaughters, 4 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her son, Larry Jones; and brothers, David and Paul Keys.
A graveside service will be held in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 1 p.m.
