Doris Marie (Thompson) Eakin, 91, passed away on February 6, 2026.
Doris was born May 28, 1934 to the late Paul and Emma Thompson in Cherry Township Pennsylvania.
Doris is survived by her children, daughters Sally (Joel) Daniels, Judy (Rick) Mark and her son Mark Eakin; her grandchildren, Grant (Leanna) Daniels, Blake (Sarah) Daniels, Alyssa (Greg) Smith, Adam Mark, Ashley (Mike) Brittenham and Corey Eakin; her great grandchildren, Henry and Clara Daniels, Elena and Ethan Smith and Logan Eakin. She is also survived by a brother David Thompson, a sister-in-law Donna Livengood and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Doris was proceeded in death by her husband of 51 years Keith Eakin in 2008, her great grandson Gus Govani in 2009, two sisters and three brothers.
Family will receive friends at the Jamison-McKinley Funeral Home, 117 North Main Street, Harrisville from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026. The funeral for Doris will take place in the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Willard Morse Officiating. Interment will follow at the Prairie Cemetery in Harrisville.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial contributions may be made to Nationwide Children’s Hospital or National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
