Charles Robert “Bob” Faucett, age 99, of Gambier, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born on September 1, 1926, in Gambier, Ohio to the late Fred R. and Mary (Layman) Faucett.
Bob was a longtime dairy farmer and had worked for Columbia Gas for 43 years. He enjoyed collecting and restoring antique cars.
He is survived by his son, Fred (Tammy) Faucett of Gambier, daughters Rhonda Faucett of Gambier, and Brenda Sue (Dan) Breneman of Gambier; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and his companions Boo and Snowball the cats, and Punky the dog
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Faucett.
The family is observing private services. The Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel is handling the arrangements.
