BRINKHAVEN — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office arrested three individuals following a short standoff in Brinkhaven on Christmas Eve.
According to a post on the sheriff’s office Facebook page, deputies responded on Wednesday to a call of shots fired and a possible shooting.
After they arrived, a short barricade ensued, resulting in the deputies detaining three subjects.
Major Crimes detectives were called to the scene. After searching the residence, detectives seized a quantity of narcotics and weapons. Three subjects were arrested and jailed.
Authorities determined that shots had been fired, but no one had been shot, and there were no injuries.
The Mount Vernon Police Department assisted in the response.
