Zanesville notched a win against Pataskala Watkins Memorial 52-42 in an Ohio girls basketball matchup on Dec. 12.

The start wasn’t the problem for Pataskala Watkins Memorial, as it began with a 16-15 edge over Zanesville through the end of the first quarter.

The Blue Devils’ offense darted in front for a 34-26 lead over the Warriors at the intermission.

Zanesville jumped to a 44-34 lead heading into the final quarter.

Neither team could gain any advantage in the fourth quarter.

In recent action on Dec. 5, Pataskala Watkins Memorial faced off against Newark Licking Valley and Zanesville took on Granville on Dec. 5 at Zanesville High School.
