MOUNT VERNON — On the first Wednesday of each month, from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Urgent Care Center on Coshocton Road, Knox Community Hospital offers free screenings for glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol to the community.
A 12-hour fast provides the best results. Tracking your numbers on a monthly basis can be helpful.
