MOUNT VERNON — Knox Community Hospital is delighted to announce the addition of a new board-certified pediatrician Dr. Svetlana Titishina, better known as “Dr. Lana.”
“She is excited to work in our community and make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of her patients,” said Carole Wagner, Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator for the hospital. “She is really engaging and I think going to be a super asset to our staff and community.”
Dr. Lana received her medical degree from the Belarussian State Medical University in Belarus, where she qualified and practiced in Pediatric Otolaryngology (ENT). After coming to the United States, she completed a pediatric residency at Dayton Children’s Medical Center/Wright State University.
Most recently, she was affiliated with the Mount Carmel Medical Group in Groveport, Ohio.
She feels strongly about preventive medicine, and hopes to improve the immunization rate, breastfeeding rate, pediatric literacy, and pediatric safety. She provides diagnostic assessment, counseling and medical treatment for pediatric ADHD, anxiety and depression as well as counseling on weight management.
