Mt. Vernon overcame a spirited challenge and rallied for a 38-22 win against Heath during this Ohio football game on Sept. 19.

The Yellow Jackets’ offense jumped in front for a 24-8 lead over the Bulldogs at the intermission.

Mt. Vernon stormed to a 38-15 lead heading into the final quarter.

The Bulldogs managed a 7-0 rally in the final quarter, yet the die was already cast.

In recent action on Sept. 5, Heath faced off against Gahanna Cols. Academy and Mt. Vernon took on Hayes on Sept. 5 at Hayes High School.
