FREDERICKTOWN — Police Chief Tracey Meyers has announced that the Fredericktown Police Department will again participate in National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 5.
National Night Out is a nationwide event that brings communities and law enforcement together to build stronger relationships and send a clear message: We are united against crime.
The event will take place at Merrin Park, 30 Burgett St., from 6 to 9 p.m. The fun, family friendly evening features the following activities:
–Live music by The Shuman Band (bring a lawn chair)
–Police, fire, and EMS displays from Fredericktown and surrounding agencies
–Car show
–Food trucks
–Security and safety vendors
–Door prizes
