MOUNT VERNON — Knox Community Hospital celebrated its North Sandusky pharmacy opening at Monday’s ribbon cutting.

The new pharmacy offers over-the-counter medicine and immunizations with a drive-thru on the building’s side. Most insurance providers are accepted, Knox Community Hospital’s Heather Moore, manager of retail pharmacy, said.
The Northside Pharmacy at 749 North Sandusky St., marks the third prescription pickup center in Knox Community Hospital’s library.
The pharmacy’s hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
“This (phramacy) represents more than brick and mortar,” Mount Vernon Mayor Matt Starr said. “KCH’s continues to meet the needs of our growing community by increasing access to pharmacy services in a convenient and great location.
“KCH is investing in our healthcare community and wellness and the future of Mount Vernon.”
