Rickie Allen Stevens Sr., age 74, formerly of Columbus, Ohio and recently residing in Bokeelia Island, Florida passed away on Monday June 9, 2025, in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Rickie was born on May 20, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ray and Marlene (Kolbe) Stevens. He was the owner and operator of “Rickie’s Express” Trucking Company. Rickie enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle, old cars, and driving truck. He also enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. But most of all, he loved the time he spent with his family and close friends.
Rickie is survived by his son Rickie (Teresa) Stevens Jr; his daughter Pamela (Steve) Garrett Sr; five grandchildren, Steven (Ashley) Garrett, Maria Garrett, Amber Stevens, Tiffney Stevens, Breton Tucker; twelve great grandchildren; his brothers Bubby Gibson, Gary Stevens, Ray (Melissa) Stevens Jr; and his sister Shelda Harr.
In addition to his parents, Rickie was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane Stevens; his brother Steve Gibson; and his sister Carla Stevens.
Friends may call on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home (201 Newark Rd. Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050) from 1:00-2:00pm. A memorial service will follow, beginning at 2:00pm.
