MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Real Estate property tax bills have been mailed and are due on Friday, July 11.
The treasurer’s office is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. The office will be closed on Thursday, June 19, for Juneteenth, and Friday, July 4th, for Independence Day.
You may pay online by electronic check or credit card at www.co.knox.oh.us (Treasurer’s site) or by phone at 1-740-638-0048. Auto Agent, the provider, does charge a fee for this service.
Payments received by mail must have a July 11, 2025, postmark to avoid a late payment penalty.
Property owners are reminded that they are responsible for paying their taxes even if a statement is not received. Anyone who has not received a tax bill should contact the Treasurer’s Office at 740-393-6735.
