Jennifer Lynn (Coyer) Martindale, 52, of Centerburg passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, May 20, 2025 at Knox Community Hospital. She was born on April 12, 1973 in Westerville to Jackie (Butcher) Mahnick and the late James E. Coyer.
Jennifer graduated from Centerburg High School in 1991 and studied Cosmetology at the Knox County Career Center. In 1996, Jennifer married her true love, Todd Martindale and started their life together raising five children. They spent 29 wonderful years together. She was a member of the Centerburg Church of Christ and enjoyed her flower beds, going shopping, giving her sons-in-law a hard time, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids. Jennifer also had a great love for her canine companions.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Todd whom she married on May 18, 1996; her mother, Jackie of Centerburg; children, Sierra Martindale of Columbus, Miranda (Dillon) Randall of Fredericktown, Makaila (AJ) Davis of Fredericktown, Makenna (Cameron) Evans of Marengo; and Lance Martindale of Centerburg; grandson, Asher Evans; and step grandchildren, Ariannah and Ryder McGowan; and her sister, Jamie (Bill) Berger of Mount Vernon.
In addition to her father, Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gertrude Wallace and Ronald and Patricia Bonnet.
The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Devore Chapel 637 State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at the Centerburg Church of Christ, 3830 Columbus Rd., Centerburg with Minister Daryn Dawes officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Centerburg.
