MOUNT VERNON – Soroptimist International of Mount Vernon/Knox County is sponsoring the 2015 Annual Fashion Show at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Gund Commons, Gambier.
“Monies raised from this event are given to several local organizations in Knox County that direct their efforts toward helping women,” said Lee Thomas, president of Soroptimist. “One of those organizations is New Directions, a domestic abuse shelter for women in need,” Lee continued.
In addition to the fashion show and luncheon, there will be exhibits, door prizes, and an exclusive silent auction.
The theme for this year’s show is: “Step into Spring”. Tickets are by reservation only, and the price is $20.00. Tickets may be purchased in Mount Vernon at Flowers For You at 22 East Gambier Street or in Gambier at The Weather Vane. Tickets may also be purchased from any Soroptimist member.
The master of ceremonies will be Matt Starr.
