The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) provides high quality specialized medical care to over nine million veterans.
The Trump regime gutted the VA in order to finance tax cuts for the billionaires, slashing hundreds of VA contracts and firing several thousand workers. DOGE plans to cut the VA workforce by another 80,000 (25% are veterans).
Who will process claims like burn pit injuries or operate suicide hotlines?
The Veterans Access Act, under the guise of giving healthcare choices to veterans, leaves millions to find their own care for service-related illness and injury.
By diverting our taxpayer dollars to private sector profiteers, it turns the VHA into an insurance scheme, limiting coverage and access to care.
Imagine our Ohio veterans who may be elderly, disabled, impoverished, or who live in rural areas trying to get the support and medical services they deserve without the Veterans Administration.
Trump calls our war dead “losers” and “suckers.” Trump, Moreno, and Husted are NOT veterans.
Do not let them betray our most loyal Americans who nobly serve in our armed forces.
