MOUNT VERNON — The First Congregational UCC Mission and Service team is hosting a coffee house on March 26th from 6 to 8 p.m. in the social hall of the First Congregational Church.

The First Congregational UCC church is located at 200 N. Main St. in Mount Vernon.

Local musicians will include Marley and Willow Boone, the Handsome Devils with Patrick Gilligan, Halle Krajenski, Gage Kuhlman and Jon Tazewell, and ECHO with Jeff Putnam,  Chris Petee and Heather Petee.  ECHO echoes the music of the 1960’s, ’70’sand 80’s with selections by Peter, Paul and Mary, The Beatles, REM and others.

The group has many years of stage experience honing their music in various music groups. They play well-known classics that encourage the audience to sing along.

Refreshments will be available and all donations will go to the Haitian Support Center in Springfield, Ohio.

The Haitian Support Center is a community-oriented nonprofit that seeks to ensure everyone in the community has a place to come for services and help.

Its goal is to provide a sense of belonging for with projects that are focused on children, youth and the elderly.
