MOUNT VERNON—Experience Mount Vernon announces the 2025 Military Appreciation Pole Banner Sponsorship Program, an opportunity for individuals, families, businesses, and non-profit organizations to honor local veterans and active-duty service members with a branch-specific banner displayed in Downtown Mount Vernon.

These banners, proudly lining the streets during Memorial Day and Veterans Day, serve as a tribute to the bravery and dedication of our military heroes. Sponsorships are $175 for individuals, families, and nonprofits and $275 for businesses. Sponsors may choose to display their banner for either Memorial Day, Veterans Day, or both holidays (for an additional sponsorship fee).

The sponsorship deadline is April 1 to ensure placement for Memorial Day. The deadline for Veterans Day is September 20.

Seasonal pole banner sponsorship packages are also available. The deadline to ensure the installation of a summer banner is May 10. All deadlines are on a rolling basis.

Available seasonal sponsorship packages Include:

  • Platinum: $1,125 for five banners of your choice
  • Gold: $750 for three banners of your choice
  • Silver:  $550 for two banners of your choice
  • Business Individual: $275 for one banner of your choice
  • Non-Profit Individual: $175 for one banner of your choice

Sponsors can select from various seasonal, welcome, and military appreciation banners that will prominently display their logo or name along the streets of downtown Mount Vernon. Designs can be found at www.experiencemv.org/pole-banner-designs.
