MOUNT VERNON – Vickie Sant, president of First-Knox National Bank, has announced the promotion of two associates: Jason Hummel has been promoted to vice president and regional commercial lender, Millersburg and Wooster markets; and Levi Curry has been promoted to assistant vice president, mortgage lending.

Levi Curry began his banking career with First-Knox in 2009. He has served in a variety of roles, including collections and branch management, and has extensive experience in consumer lending activities.

A Mount Vernon native, Levi is a graduate of Mount Vernon High School and Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He has completed the Ohio Banker’s League Bank Management and Bank Leadership Institute schools, and is a graduate of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Knox program. He is currently a member of Kiwanis and the Old Homestead Club, and coaches various sports in the community.

“Levi has really honed his lending skills and abilities to the degree that he has become a trusted advisor for his customers,” said Sant. “He is an excellent resource for our customers and is really good at matching up the appropriate product based on his customers’ financial goals.”

Jason Hummel

Jason Hummel has been a commercial lender in the Holmes County market for the past 12 years. He is a graduate of Hiland High School and Marietta College.

Hummell has completed numerous commercial banking schools, including the OMEGA program. Jason is a board member for the following organizations: Historic Downtown Millersburg, Holmes County Economic Development Council and the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce Finance Committee. He currently serves as the president of the Hiland Athletic Boosters Club.

“Jason has been an excellent addition to our Holmes and Wayne County markets,” Sant said. “He is well-known in the community and is extremely knowledgeable in commercial lending. He understands his customers and their unique lending needs.”
