MOUNT VERNON — Ten common pleas sentences were handed down in Knox County Common Pleas Court in December.
Below are the cases:
One sentenced on Dec. 18
Micheal O.A. Kusi, 26, of Grove City, was sentenced to one year of community control, among other requirements, on operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol conviction.
Nine sentenced on Dec. 19
Katrina Wintz, 46, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to one year of community control, among other requirements, to be suspended on the condition that Wintz comply with all terms of supervision, among other requirements, on an aggravated possession of drugs conviction.
Paul Scott Jr., 29, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to a 11-month prison sentence on an aggravated possession of drugs conviction. Scott Jr.’s sentence will be served concurrently with the 11-month prison sentence imposed in No. 24CR10-0213 on an aggravated possession of drugs conviction. He was given 67 days credited toward his sentence. He was also given 59 days credited in the other criminal case.
Ryan Brasseur, 51, of Newton Falls, was sentenced to one year of monitored time, among other requirements, on a possession of a fentanyl-related compound and forfeiture specification convictions, suspended if Brasseur successfully completes the Recovery Ohio Program and aftercare program, among other requirements.

Kimberly Orndorff, 60, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to one year of monitored time, among other requirements, on an aggravated possession of drugs conviction.
Helen Fair, 44, of Warsaw, was sentenced to one year of monitored time, among other requirements, on a possession of drugs conviction.
Brandon Butler, 28, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to two years of community control, among other requirements, on an attempted conviction, to be suspended on the condidited they complete the Mended Reeds Residential Treatment Program, among other requirements.
Brian Rose, 52, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to an 11-month prison sentence, to be served concurrently with the 11-month prison sentence imposed in case No. 24CR08-163, on an aggravated possession of drugs conviction. Rose was credited 130 days toward his sentence. Rose was convicted of nonsupport of dependants in case No. 24CR08-0163.
Chelsea Joseph, 32, of Hilliard, was sentenced to one year of community control, among other requirements, on an illegal use of supplemental nutrition or WIC program and receiving stolen property convictions.
Robert Britton, 58, of Columbus, was sentenced to one year of monitored time, among other requirements, on a forgery conviction.
