MOUNT VERNON — If you’ve driven on Coshocton Avenue recently you may have noticed chain-linked fencing surrounding the former Long John Silver’s fast-food restaurant.
The 935 Coshocton Avenue building has stayed dormant — until now.
According to a July 1 permit, the former Long John Silver’s building is expected to be demolished. A proposed two-bay oil change facility will take its place.
A permit filed the same day also states the oil change shop offers automotive services and repairs, including paint and bodywork.
The permit application is under the oil-change company Take 5 Properties SPV, LLC, with names George M. Roth / Faith Burnett attached to the application.
Contact information for Take Properties SPV, LCC, wasn’t on the permit applications.
A Dec. 12 demolition permit was filed under Mitch Peters and TLV Services, Inc, an excavating company in Licking County.
