SHERWOOD, Oregon — Knox Pages reporters spent another day in Sherwood, Oregon, this time speaking with local educators about Intel’s impact.

Knox Pages reporter Grant Ritchey and Knox County Career Center director Elaine Robinson went to Sherwood High School and spoke with the high school principal Adam Mitchell and Career Center director Elizabeth Barrett about Intel’s impact on the district.
They gave us detailed insights about business growth in the area juxtaposed with the lack of affordable housing.
On Tuesday, Knox Pages reporter Cheryl Splain and Area Development President Jeff Gottke met with Sherwood’s city manager and community development director.
Wednesday’s agenda for Splain and Gottke includes meeting with Metro Oregon, which plays a large role in land use issues in Washington County.
Ritchey and Robinson will visit Portland Community College, and Source reporter Grace McCormick and Chamber Director Carol Grubaugh will learn about Sherwood’s Main Street program.
