MANSFIELD – On Friday at 2:32 p.m. the Richland County Sheriff’s Office received the report of a deceased white male in a creek located in the 2000 block of Eckert Rd. Perry Township. Responding deputies confirmed the report and contacted the Richland County Coroner’s Office.
Monday morning officials said after a preliminary autopsy, the body is that of Victor J. Ross, 53, of Grove City, Ohio. Ross had been reported missing March 19th. Preliminary cause of death is listed as drowning.
