Margaret M. Poland, age 95, of Mount Vernon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home.
She was born on March 28, 1929, in Galion, Ohio to the late Paul M. and Velma (Volk) Sheehe.
Margaret worked or the Mount Vernon City Schools for 25 years as a librarian and volunteered for 11 years at Knox County Career Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Poland, sisters, Helen Caldwell and Dorothy McBride, along with many extended family members and friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Poland in 2011, brothers, Tom and Malcolm Sheehe, sisters, Shirley Brumenshankle, Rose Marie Acorn, and Mary Alice Farnsworth.
The family will observe a private burial in Saint Johns Cemetery.
