Knox County grand jury returns 13 indictments

MOUNT VERNON — A Knox County grand jury handed down 13 indictments in its most recent session on Monday, July 15.

• Christopher Ballard, of Mount Vernon, grand theft of a motor vehicle, fourth-degree felony.
• Deon Boyd Jr., of Hempstead, receiving stolen property, fifth-degree felony.
• Alize Johnson, of Columbus, rape, first-degree felony; receiving stolen property, fifth-degree felony.
• Breanna Stewart, of Utica, strangulation, third-degree felony; domestic violence, first-degree misdemeanor.
• Jameel Marion, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer, third-degree felony.
• Luanne Woolfe, of Mount Vernon, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony.
• Lindsey Sherrills, of Mount Vernon, endangering children, second-degree felony.
• Paul Scott Jr., of Mount Vernon, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony.
• Peggy Hall, of Mount Vernon, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony.
• Steven Smith, of Gambier, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony.
• Mark Mott, of Mount Vernon, disrupting public services, forth-degree felony; assault, first-degree misdemeanor.
• Christian Starlin, of Marion, strangulation, third-degree felony; domestic violence, first-degree misdemeanor; endangering children, first-degree misdemeanor; aggravated menacing, first-degree misdemeanor.
• Matthew Myers, of Bucyrus, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony; illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, fourth-degree misdemeanor.
