KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
April 10
- The complainants advised someone had gone inside their residence. Money, a television and electronics were taken during the early morning hours of 4-9-19. A report was taken.
April 11
- A deputy was dispatched to a 9-1-1 call and was advised the victim stated someone had hurt her. The deputy arrived at the scene and made contact with the victim. A report was completed and the victim was transported to Knox Community Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Christopher M. Weaver was arrested on a probation holder and for domestic violence.
April 12
- An officer was dispatched to a non-injury accident in Danville During the crash investigation it was determined Ervin A. Miller was driving a horse and buggy while under the influence of alcohol. Miller was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail.
- Deanna M. Chapman was sitting facing east at a stop sign on Cherry Alley, waiting to turn north onto S. Market St. in Danville. Ervin Miller was traveling north on S. Market St. when he turned west onto Cherry Alley and sideswiped Chapman causing damage to the left rear door, left rear fender, and bumper. Miller then continued on down Cherry Alley until a witness stopped him and brought him back to the scene of the accident. Miller was cited for failure to control and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
