MOUNT VERNON – The fifth in a series of town halls about the drug epidemic is scheduled for Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Mount Vernon High School theater. The emphasis will be on the financial toll the drug epidemic is taking on the community. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
Presentations are planned by EMS, law enforcement, courts and those working in treatment/rehab.
The MVPD’s new police dog and trainer/officer will be at the event also.
