Crash Report
April 23
- Andrew L Mosier was crossing northbound on Coshocton Ave on his bicycle against traffic and not in a crosswalk. Monica L. Cline was traveling westbound on Coshocton Ave. in the outside lane. Mosier rode his bicycle directly into the path of Cline causing her to strike him. Mosier suffered apparent non-incapacitating injuries and was transported to Knox Community Hospital by the Mount Vernon Fire Department EMS squad. Mosier was cited for reckless operation.
- Angela T Chadwick was attempting to turn onto Coshocton Ave. from a business parking lot and failed to yield to Roger Walton who was in a motorized wheelchair. Chadwick struck Walton’s wheelchair with the front of her vehicle. Walton was taken to Knox Community Hospital by Mount Vernon Fire Department EMS for treatment of his injuries Chadwick was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian on the sidewalk.
- Randall Justice was traveling northbound on S. Gay St. and while attempting to turn right onto E. Gambier St. struck Allison M. Glass who was traveling eastbound on E. Gambier St.
April 24
- Kimberly A. Fields and Delilah S. Hetterscheidt were traveling eastbound on Coshocton Ave. in the outside lane. Hetterscheidt stopped for staled traffic ahead. Fields failed to stop and struck Hetterscheidt in the rear end. Fields was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
- Both Hope M. Heldenbrand and Rachel M. Goeppinger were traveling westbound on Coshocton Ave. Goeppinger stopped abruptly in response to a squad traveling with lights and siren in the opposite direction and was rear ended by Heldenbrand. Heldenbrand was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Incident Reports
April 23
- At approximately 8:00 A.M an officer was dispatched to Northview Dr. on a report of theft. The officer spoke with the complainant who said he believed someone had stolen is gun from his house The weapon was entered into LEADS as stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
- A female who lives in the Shalimar Apts. reported that she and her family were being harassed. The female indicted that the neighborhood kids were creating problems. Each time the female’s children went outside the other kids made gestures and used obscene language. A report was filed.
April 24
- A theft was reported to the MVPD. He item stolen is describes as a blue Boost Mobile flip phone
- A male who lives on Harcourt Rd. reported a theft. He stated that property was missing after he got off work on 4/24/28. The property in question, an LG 62” TV, came up missing while the male was at work. He stated he believes that his roommate may be responsible but hasn’t had any contact with him since the incident. A report was filed.

April 22
- Sarah Burns, 36, N. Sandusky St. was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
- Tonia Smith, 42, W. Gambier St. was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
- Stephen Deshong 31, S McKenzie St. was cited for driving under an FRA suspension and was arrested for obstructing official business.
April 23
- Leah Shaffer, 20, Manchester PA, was cited for speeding
- Andrew Mosier, 16, W. Vine St. was cited for reckless operation.
- Angela Chadwick, 34, Martinsburg, was cited for driving under suspension/revocation and for failure to yield to a pedestrian on the sidewalk.
- Jeremy Price, 41, Millersburg, was arrested on an outstanding warrant
April 24
- Brenda Bess, 58, Howard, was arrested and charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and for an outstanding warrant. She was also cited for no operator’s license.
- Madison McCauley, 20, Howard,was cited for speed.
- Jeremy Scott, 29, Hilliard, was cited for over size/weight vehicle on local streets.
- Jordan Byers, 20, Shalimar Dr. was cited for expired or unlawful plates.
- Ronda Brennan, 38, Zanesville, was cited for a stop sign violation and for driving under suspension/revocation.
- Kimberly Fields, 47, Sherri Dr. was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
- Hope Heldenbrand, 21, E. Chestnut St. was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
