MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Treasurer Shelley Coon reminds property owners real estate taxes are due on Friday, Feb. 16.
Payments may be made in the Treasurer’s Office Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Payment can also be made online through the treasurer’s site at www.co.knox.oh.us. There is a fee charged by the third-party processor.
Mailed payments must be postmarked no later than Feb. 16 to avoid a penalty.
Property owners are responsible for paying their real estate taxes even if a statement is not received. Contact the Treasurer’s Office at (740) 393-6735 if you do not receive your statement.
