MOUNT VERNON – The Knox Community Hospital Auxiliary will offer academic scholarships to high school seniors and college students interested in pursuing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in a health care profession.
Applications are available from the guidance offices of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown, East Knox, and Mount Vernon high schools and the Knox County Career Center.
Additionally, the application is accessible on Knox Community Hospital’s website. Each scholarship award will total $1,000. The number of health care scholarships available is not yet determined.
Eligibility requirements are outlined in the application. All applicants must have been Knox County residents for at least 12 months.
