Diane Louise Davis, age 67, of Mount Vernon passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at the Ohio Health Hospital in Mansfield.
She was born on February 2, 1956, in Monongahela, Pennsylvania to the late Dewey and Dorothy (Jones) DeCooman. Diane enjoyed playing board games and cards. She also enjoyed vacations and being on the beach. But most of all, she loved the time she spent with her family and close friends.
She is survived by her husband Donald Davis Sr.; her sons Donald (Trina) Davis Jr., Derry Davis; her daughter Denise (Larry Fox) Davis; five grandchildren, Sarah (Dillon Talbott) Fisher, Zach (Madison) Hull, Ashley (Cris Garcia) Everhart, Draven (Grace Miller) Fowler, Kylie (Scott Parr) Everhart; her brothers, Skip DeCooman, David DeCooman; her sisters, Donna Smith and Darla Anderson; and her canine companions Buster and Ol’Red.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her daughter Dawna Davis.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, beginning at 2pm at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home (619 E. High St, Mt. Vernon, Ohio 43050) with Pastor Marvin Haught officiating.
