MVPD

11/2/17 – At approximately 2:41 A.M. an officer found the suspect in the area of W. High St. He was found to be in possession of a glass pipe with residue, a metal bowl, yellow container, rolling papers, a black Crown Royal bag, two clear zip-lock type bags and an orange zip-lock bag. The suspect was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

11/2/17 – an officer was dispatched to a residence on N. Sandusky St. in reference to a male refusing to leave a residence When the officer arrived at the residence he spoke with the male suspect who requested a ride to his father’s house. The suspect gave the officer permission to check his pockets and a small bag containing a clear, crystal-like substance was found.

11/3/17 – At about 6:54 A.M. an officer responded to a N. Sandusky St. address in reference to a drug complaint. When the officer arrived at the scene, the complainant indicated he found a white crystal-like substance with the consistency of meth in his partner’s purse. The small bag containing the crystal-like substance was placed into evidence to be destroyed.

11/3/17 – Three officers responded to the Knox Community Hospital emergency room in reference to a suicidal male who left the hospital. Upon arrival, the officers checked the area and were advised the male, Dakota Tomlin, had returned to the emergency room. Officers spoke with the Tomlin and an employee of Behavioral Health Partners who said Tomlin had become disorderly and requested to go to jail. Tomlin was arrested for disorderl6y conduct with persisting in a medical facility and transported to the Knox County Jail.

11/4/17 – An officer responded to an E. Hamtramck St. address on a report of theft from a vehicle. A written statement was obtained from the complainant. Items taken from the vehicle included a men’s wallet with a bird design on it, a debit card, driver’s license, a social security card, and a set of binoculars valued at $300. The investigation is active and will be updated with any new information as it becomes available.

10/30/17 – Clayton Smith, 39, W.Curtis St. was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.

11/1/17- Michael Mandich, 53, Fredericktown, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

11/1/17 – Sidney Cornell, 41, W. Curtis St, was arrested on an arrest warrant.

11/2/17 – Frederick Murphy, 49, N. Mulberry St. was charged with drug paraphernalia offenses.

11/2/17 – Danielle Krownapple, 34, N. McKenzie St. was arrested for possessing drug abuse instruments.

11.2/17 – Kayla Alcott, 27, Upper Gilchrist Rd. was cited for driving under an FRA suspension and charged with drug paraphernalia offenses.

11/2/17 – Reva Crim, 28, Franklin St. warrant for probation violation.

11/2/17 – James Duncan, 26, W. Burgess St. was arrested and charged with possession of drug abuse instruments. He was also cited for driving under the influence and a rear red light violation.

11/3/17 – Jacob Williams, 19, Plaza Dr. was arre3wsted for domestic violence.

11/3/17 – Jessica Cline, 33, Gambier, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

11/3/17, Dakota Tomlin, 20, Follin Ave. was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct with persisting.

11/3/17- Tracy Hambleton, 40, Brinkhaven, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

11/4/17 – Steven Harris, 37, Howard, was cited for driving or physical control while under the influence.

11/4/17 – Brian McKelvey, S. McKenzie, St. was cited for driving or physical control while under the influence and charged with resisting arrest.

11/4/17 – Michael Atkins, 33, Northview Sr. was cited for failure to display both license plates.

11/5/17 – Brian Murphy, 41, Howard was arrested for drug paraphernalia offenses.

Traffic Accidents

1/3/17- William Kline was traveling west on East Gambier St. when a deer entered the roadway. Kline’s truck struck the deer causing damage to the truck on the front and passenger side.

11/3/17- Eric L. Everhart stated he was stopped at a red light when Jessica Lynn Cline struck him in the rear of his vehicle causing damage. Cline stated she dropped stuff off her lap onto the floorboard and when she was attempting to pick it up she struck Everhart. Everhart was transported to Knox Community Hospital by Mount Vernon Fire and EMS. Cline was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

11/3/17- Tracy Ann Hambleton was northbound on S. Main St. and struck the rear of Jamie E. Vandine who was also northbound on S. Main St. Vandine was stopped for a red light at Parrot St. No injuries were reported.
