Clifford W. Huffman, age 80, of Fredericktown passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born on August 1, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Emanual and Irene (Rice) Huffman. Clifford was employed at the City of Columbus from which he retired after many years of service. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Ohio State University fan. Clifford was a veteran serving in the United Stated Air Force.
He is survived by his daughter Christina (Robert) Brown; five grandchildren, Rhiannon Huffman, Anna-Marie Huffman, Zachary (Meghan) Brown, Jeffrey Brown, Jimmy (Krysten) Walton; ten great grandchildren, Payton Miskin-Huffman, Caden Walton, Beau Walton, Kohen Walton, Skylar Brown, Brantley Brown, Lily Brown, Ivy Brown, Jaxon Brown, Hazel Farley-Huffman; and his sisters, Louise (Dave) Freshly, and Mary Stanton.
In addition to his parents, Clifford was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Huffman; his son Brett Huffman; his grandson Randy Brown; two sisters, Leona Hanson, Helen Thrash; and four brothers, John Huffman, Howard Huffman, Steve Huffman, and Teddy Huffman.
Friends may call on Monday, December 18, 2023, at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home from 1:00-3:00pm. A service will follow, beginning at 3:00pm, with Pastor Marvin Haught officiating.
