MOUNT VERNON – Mount Vernon Municipal Court Judge John Thatcher found 20 people guilty after hearings were conducted this week at the Mount Vernon Municipal Court.
These were the cases brought forward by Mount Vernon Law Director P. Robert Broeren Jr.’s Office.
Nov. 20
Mark Dennison, 27, of Delaware, was found guilty of misdemeanor theft.
Randy Mitchell, 39, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of disorderly conduct.
Theodore Stygler, 45, of Centerburg, was found guilty of assault.
Jared Darr, 25, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of cruelty to animals.
Andrew Gray, 45, of Howard, was found guilty of maintaining physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse.
Thomas Germani, 26, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of a 2nd offense of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse.
Cory Mautz, 36, of Pleasantville, was guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse.
Brian Foulks, 41, of Lexington, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse.
Jayson Horlacher, 43, of Marengo, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse.
John Castle, 48, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of unsafe backing of a motor vehicle and stop sign violation.
Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted the Dennison case and First Assistant Law Director Brittany Whitney prosecuted all the other cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and Gambier.

Dillion Workman, 27, of Ashland, was found guilty of criminal damaging.
Judy Callahan, 32, of Centerburg, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse and failure to stop after motor vehicle accident.
Brittney Williams, 35, of Butler, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under a license forfeiture suspension and with expired plates.
Michael Menter, 57, of Lexington, was found guilty of speeding in a school zone.
Joshua Dotson, 45, of Woodstock, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under a license forfeiture suspension.
Joseph Traudt, 60, of Westerville, was found guilty of speeding.
Isaac Sexton, 19, of Republic, was found guilty of speeding.
Timothy Lawson, 32, of Newark, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under a license restriction suspension.
Serina Kean, 43, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of failure to stop after motor vehicle accident and failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
Kathryn Megaw, 66, of Utica, was found guilty of speeding.
Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted all these cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and Gambier.
