MORRIS TOWNSHIP — One patient was transported by EMS to Knox Community Hospital after a vehicle crashed into a tree Saturday.

According to the Fredericktown Community Fire District, CH411, R415, G412, G414 were dispatched at 9:38 a.m. on Saturday morning to the 15000 block of Upper Fredericktown Road in Morris Township on the report of a motor vehicle crash. Fredericktown EMS was also dispatched to this call.

Upon arrival to the scene a single vehicle was found off the roadway and into a tree. The drivers doors of the SUV was opened with tools by the crew of R415. FCFD units maintained and controlled traffic through the scene during investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The FCFD had 12 firefighters and two cadets respond to this call. All FCFD units were back in quarters by 11:04 a.m.
