MOUNT VERNON — The Winter Sanctuary is proud to present An Evening with Patsy Cline at the Woodward Opera House.
In this production, Six Miles to Nellie lead singer Courtney DeCosky transforms into Patsy Cline for an evening of music to celebrate a country music legend. She is backed by the Nellie band and special guests.
Patsy shares her memories of the songs she recorded and their connections to her family and life. With special host Minnie Pearl and an opening act from the Bonafides, this step back in time is a delightful tribute to Patsy’s memorable legacy. All of this is being hosted in the historic Woodward Opera House.
The proceeds from this wonderful evening will support The Winter Sanctuary. Its mission is to provide a seasonal emergency shelter for members of our community who experience homelessness and to connect them with the resources that empower them to be successful and self-sufficient.
We provide a safe and supportive environment so our guests can work toward their goals and make progress toward a better future. To that end, we continue to work in a capacity that provides safe emergency shelter, coordinates resources, and advocates for and encourages our guests to secure safe, sustainable housing.
