Connie G. Crago, age 75, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 28, 1947, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the daughter of John and Freida (Hess) Gardner. Connie was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Glenwood Chapter Order of Eastern Star. She owned and operated Crego Enterprises specializing in upholstery for many years.
She is survived by her husband Gail Crago, a daughter, Carrie (Scott) Swank of Butler, a stepson, Troy (Steed Edwards) Crago of Sunnydale, California, two grandchildren, Amber Hillier, Brittany Williams, and a brother, Tim Gardner of Mount Vernon.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother John Gardner Jr. and a sister, Beverly Sue “Suzi” Rollit.
The family will observe a private memorial service at a later date. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Connie G. Crago.
