Cathy Tier, age 72, of Howard, OH passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Knox Community Hospital.
She was born on June 24, 1951, to Roy J. and E. Ruth (Romine) McMillan.
Cathy had worked and retired after 25 + years as the apartment manager for Evergreen Apartments in Mount Vernon.
Cathy is survived by her loving daughter, Julie (Trent) Long of Butler, OH; a grandson Ryan (Jamee Fraser) Long of Galion; a sister, Cristie (McMillan) Attaway of New Smyrna Beach, FL; brother, Brian McMillan of Tampa, FL.; nephews, Charles Young of Butler, John Attaway of New Smyrna Beach, FL., Matt Pastor of Orlando, FL. Joel McMillan of Kennesaw, GA.; nieces, Rosemary Young and Angie Kunz both of Mansfield, Cassady McMillan of Tampa, FL., Kelsey McMillan of Columbus, and Jessica (McMillan) Hubbard of Gainesville, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Michael S. Tier on June 4, 2023.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 – 2:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon.
