MOUNT VERNON — The Leadership Knox Class of 2023, a program of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce, has announced its participation in Experience Mount Vernon’s “Dog Days of Summer” First Friday event on Aug. 4.
The Class of 2023 will host a dog adoption event located at the Community Corner at Main and Gambier Streets. Dogs currently available for adoption through Dogs of Knox will be at this event, hoping to meet their FUR-ever family.
The Leadership Knox class has purchased a large dog crate for the Knox County Dog Shelter to transport dogs which will be showcased at the August First Friday.
Leadership Knox Class of 2023 is made up of a diverse group of up-in-coming leaders representing manufacturing, retail, finance, healthcare, education, and more.
This 10-month program of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce provides participants with a deeper understanding of the critical issues affecting Knox County and beyond. This year’s class has 29 lively, community-minded participants.
