MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.

JULY 21

— A complainant called to report an intoxicated female whom assaulted her and was acting aggressive toward her other customers. Law Enforcement arrived and made contact with the complainant and the offender. The offender was arrested for disorderly conduct and a report was completed for court and for documentation.

JULY 22

— A victim/complainant called and reported that her ex-boyfriend was at the residence and forced entry into the home. Deputies responded, the individual was arrested, and a report was completed for documentation and for court.

— Deputies were dispatched to Clutter Rd. on a run away teenager. Complainant stated the juvenile had gotten mad and ran out of the house. The juvenile was located some time later and returned to his mother. Report will be sent down for further review by juvenile probation. Nothing further.

— Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check of a female who had active warrants. Deputies were able to make contact with the female and she appeared to be in good health. The female was then placed into custody and transported to the Knox County jail. Nothing further.

— Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of Wooster Road in reference to a domestic incident. The individuals involved in the incident arrived at the Sheriff’s Office to speak with Deputies. Deputies conducted an investigation on the incident. Deputies determined that there was a male suspect, and female victim. The male suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office jail. A report was taken on the incident and charges are pending.

JULY 23

— Around 4 a.m., the Knox County Sheriff’s Office was contacted in reference to a injury crash that happened in Jelloway. The caller reported that a vehicle hit a utility pole before running into the front porch of a house. The caller also reported that power lines were down across the road. Upon arrival to the scene, a Deputy began to search for the driver of the crashed vehicle. Shortly after arrival, the Deputy observed a vehicle drive into the downed power lines. The driver of that vehicle was subsequently arrested for operating under the influence and transported to the Knox County Jail.

— Deputies responded to a pedestrian vs. golf cart accident with injury at the Knox County Fairgrounds.

— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Lock Road on a suicidal juvenile. Deputies were able to locate the female at this residence and was transported to the Knox Community Hospital by Centerburg Fire/EMS. Information was gathered and a report was written for documentation.

— Deputies responded to the area of Columbus Rd and Updike Rd reference a female juvenile driving, wanting to kill herself. Dispatch was able to talk with the Juvenile which pulled off at a business on Columbus Rd. Deputies arrived and spoke with the juvenile. The juvenile was released to the brother, per the mother, to be taken home. A report was completed for documentation.
