HOWARD — Four members of the East Knox FFA were honored on-stage and received their State-winning banner and first place individual plaque after winning the state finals of the FFA Nursery/Landscape Career Development Event on March 29 at Delaware Area Career Center in Delaware.
There awards ceremony took place at the 95th state FFA convention on May 4 and 5 at the Ohio Exposition Center in Columbus.
The team consisting of seniors Dustin Springer and Jon Cisco and sophomores Dylan Springer and Hayden Baker finished first in the state event after the day of hands-on competition.
Dylan Springer was the first place individual in the state.
They will now represent Ohio in the National Event on November 1 and 2 in conjunction with the 96th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.
