Conway’s Pharmacy in Mount Vernon and Danville is known for its commitment to community healthcare issues and community well-being. Access to healthcare services continues to be a focal point of conversation and concern, and having your pharmacy team and medications easily accessible remains a crucial aspect of continuity healthcare.

At Conway’s Pharmacy, we offer a FREE healthcare app called RxLocal. You can find this app in the Apple app store and Google Play store or text RXLOCAL to 64980.

The RxLocal app keeps your medications and healthcare very organized. You can see all your medications that are filled at our pharmacies and get medication information on each of the medications. You can set medication reminders so you or a loved one does not miss a dose of their important medications. You have a listing for all providers that have prescribed a medication to you that has been filled at Conway’s Pharmacy.

We want to give our patients the power to access their prescription(s) and medical information from one easy and convenient dashboard. Most importantly, you have access to your pharmacist and pharmacy team through our HIPPA-compliant and secure text messaging to get your questions answered immediately and to request refills on medications.

From your app, you could text us that you are parked outside with your sick loved one and request the medication to be delivered to you curbside, and from your app, you could just text thank you to your great Pharmacy team at Conway’s Pharmacy. Our free app can give you a whole new way to manage your medication regimen and communicate with us.

As one customer stated: “I have been using the RxLocal app since Conway’s introduced it. I love how I can refill meds and check on when prescriptions are ready. The message option I love using for non-urgent questions and I always get a prompt response. Thankful for the app as an open line of communication with the pharmacy staff.”

COVID-19 shone a light on what many have always known – independent pharmacies are central to the health of communities. The role of independent pharmacies, such as your local Conway’s Pharmacy, was paramount in getting our community the healthcare and support it needed as our nation faced the worst healthcare crisis of our lifetimes.

We are proud of the role we played (and continue to play) in providing you with health and wellness services. With 91% of Americans living within 5 miles of a community pharmacy, pharmacies are helping to address issues of access, quality, effectiveness, and costs – community by community, one patient at a time.

By providing expanded access to healthcare programs and preventive services that improve patient outcomes such as vaccinations, medication therapy management, wellness counseling, health screenings, a user-friendly APP and more, we are proud of our role in improving public health.
