MOUNT VERNON – Three defendants were sentenced Friday by Judge Otho Eyster in the Knox County Court of Common Pleas.

Terry T. Barker, 35, of Columbus, was sentenced for Possession of Cocaine, a third-degree felony, and Possession of Heroin, a fourth-degree felony. Barker was charged as the result of a traffic stop. Barker will serve 30 months of mandatory time for the possession of cocaine, and 17 months concurrently for the possession of heroin. Barker has previously been convicted for multiple counts of possession of drugs, weapons under disability, and trafficking in surrounding counties.

William A. Lemaster, 45, of Centerburg, was resentenced for OVI after violating the conditions of his community control. This was Lemaster’s sixth drunk driving conviction in twenty years. He was sentenced to 17 months in prison and ordered to pay court costs.

Dane E. Ferenbaugh, 34, of Fredericktown, was sentenced for Possession of Heroin, a fifth-degree felony. Ferenbaugh was given three years of community control, a six month license suspension. He must also get a drug and alcohol assessment and submit to drug and alcohol use monitoring. Eleven months of prison has been suspended.
