MOUNT VERNON – After much thought and discussion, the Heritage Centre Association Board has determined that the time has come to re-evaluate the structure of the Downtown Manager position. Norita Hissong has held the position since March 2015.
HCA board president Mike Hillier issued a news release saying Hissong “brought some talents to the position that were beneficial to the organization, but at this time we feel the need to take the role in a different direction.”
The Heritage Centre office will continue to hold regular hours. In the interim period the First Friday events, The Rubber Duck River Race and the services offered to HCA members and the community will continue.
