KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
June 1
- Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Broadway St. in Mount Vernon for a possible drug overdose. While the deputies were on-scene they discovered Victor J. Orndorff had an outstanding warrant out of Knox County. He was placed under arrest and transported to Knox County Jail.
- The complainant called to report someone removed the catalytic converter from the bus the business owns while it was having repairs done to it.
- The Village of Centerburg reported they had a check returned to them that they did not write. The check was cashed and was for $1630.00.
June 2
- A deputy conducted a traffic stop at Glen Rd. and Martinsburg Rd. During the investigation it was discovered the driver was under suspension and in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. It was also discovered the driver had a nationwide warrant for his arrest out of Licking County. The driver, Shaw M. Grennell, was issued a citation and placed under arrest for the warrant. He was transported to Utica where a Utica officer took custody of Grennell.
