Close to 50 individuals stood outside Knox Community Hospital’s main entrance Wednesday, protesting the COVID-19 vaccine mandate put in place by the hospital last week. KCH released a statement late Wednesday morning saying it would no longer require employees to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 1, as previously stated, but would require unvaccinated employees to “participate in routine COVID testing and enhanced adherence to personal protective equipment such as the wearing of N95 masks.”
