MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports from their shifts on Oct. 24 and 25.
OCT. 24
On Monday, Oct. 24, deputies were dispatched to a residence on Banning Road on a possible domestic violence. Deputies were able to make contact with victim at the residence and determined that the suspect had fled the area on foot prior to our arrival. Statements were collected on-scene and charges of domestic violence were filed.
After leaving the residence, Deputies received a call the suspect had returned back to the residence and attempted to leave in a vehicle. Suspect was stopped on Green Valley Road and placed under arrest for domestic violence.
OCT. 25
On October 25, 2022, a complainant called and advised that her husband was suicidal. Deputies responded and made contact with all parties. The male was transported to KCH for a voluntary mental health evaluation. A report was completed for documentation.
