MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports at the end of their respective shifts.
NOV. 23
— Deputies responded to a suspicious person on Harcourt Rd. Deputies transported a male to the Knox Community Hospital and drug paraphernalia was also located and seized.
— Deputies responded to a location on Wooster Road on a call for service from a caller wishing to report harassment. Contact was made with a suspect who was advised to cease the conduct or possibly face charges for telecommunications harassment. A report was taken to document the incident.
— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Columbus Rd. Mount Vernon Ohio on a male with Alzheimer’s being combative and making suicidal comments. Deputies arrived on scene and as well as EMS. The male was transported to the Knox Community Hospital.
— A deputy was dispatched to a supermarket on Columbus Rd. in Centerburg Ohio on an attempted fraud incident. The deputy arrived on scene and made contact with the complainant. A report was generated for documentation purposes.
— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Daniels Road on a possible trespassing. Complainant/Property Owner called in advising that he located a unoccupied vehicle on his property and wanted it removed and the individual driving the vehicle trespassed from his property. Deputies made contact with the individual driving the vehicle and determined that this was the second time that he has been caught trespassing on other people’s property. The individual was warned on his conduct that any more incidents would result in criminal charges for trespassing. A report was written for documentation purposes.
NOV. 22
— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Columbus Rd. Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 on a domestic violence/suicidal threats call. Deputies arrived on scene and began their investigation. The male suspect was subsequently arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail and released into the custody of jail staff.
— A caller reported that while traveling west on Columbus Road in the area of Madison Avenue the vehicle they were driving was struck by another vehicle. The other vehicle fled the scene. A report to document the incident was taken.
