MOUNT VERNON – The candidates for Knox County Commissioner and State Representative to the 68th Ohio House District took to the stage at the Memorial Theater Tuesday night to debate the issues. The event was sponsored by the Mount Vernon News paper who partnered with KnoxPages.com and WMVO/WQIO.
The evening began with the debate featuring the three candidates for State Representative – Doug Crowl, a write-in candidate; Democrat John Russell, and Republican Rick Carfagna.
The second debate featured County Commissioner candidates. Incumbent Republican Thom Collier is facing Democrat Mary Chapa on November 8th.
